Find Your Voice + Rebuild Your Self-Worth
If you've spent years prioritizing everyone else, grappling with anxiety and feelings of low self-worth, you may have learned to silence your voice, avoid confrontation, and settle for less than you truly deserve out of fear of rejection or inadequacy. Perhaps you find yourself trapped in unhealthy relationships, struggles with setting boundaries, or questioning your identity beneath the weight of people-pleasing.
Therapy offers a supportive environment to heal the childhood wounds that have contributed to these patterns. Together, we'll work on rebuilding your self-worth, fostering self-trust, establishing healthier boundaries, developing meaningful relationships, and finding your authentic voice. This journey will empower you to move forward with increased confidence, peace, and a renewed sense of purpose.

But inside...
You constantly overthink everything in your life.
You put everyone else's needs before your own, often neglecting self-care.
You struggle to say no, feeling guilty whenever you try.
You keep attracting unhealthy relationships that drain your energy.
You never feel 'good enough' in your own eyes.
You feel anxious even when nothing is inherently wrong.
You feel emotionally exhausted and overwhelmed.
If this sounds familiar, you're not broken. Your life experiences have shaped how you feel, think, and respond today.
Healing is not about becoming someone else; instead, it is about feeling safer, calmer, and more connected to the person you already are.
Wake up feeling calmer
Start your day feeling grounded, allowing yourself to be present rather than overwhelmed by anxious thoughts.
Say no without guilt

Hi, I'm Ana. I specialize in helping women heal from the impacts of childhood emotional abuse, neglect, and the challenges of narcissistic parenting. My focus also extends to overcoming toxic relationships, PTSD, and other painful life experiences.
Born and raised in Mexico, I deeply understand how challenging life experiences, cultural expectations, family dynamics, and major life transitions can influence a person's sense of self, relationships, and emotional well-being. My own journey inspired a lifelong passion for exploring human behavior, resilience, and the brain's extraordinary capacity to heal.
Through both personal experience and over 20 years of professional work, I have discovered that painful experiences, such as childhood emotional abuse, neglect, and toxic relationships, do not have to define our future. Today, I specialize in helping women heal from these traumatic life experiences.
As a bilingual Hispanic therapist fluent in English and Spanish, I also specialize in providing Psychological Immigration Evaluations.

EMDR therapy assists the brain in processing painful and traumatic memories that may still influence how you feel, react, and perceive yourself today. The objective isn't to erase those memories or make you forget them. Rather, EMDR aims to diminish the emotional intensity tied to those memories, allowing the past to transform into experiences that happened to you, rather than something you continue to endure.

CBT can assist you in changing the thoughts and behaviors that affect your life today, while EMDR can help you process painful experiences that might still be shaping your emotions. Together, these therapeutic approaches can enable you to move beyond merely coping with your symptoms, allowing you to work towards feeling calmer, more confident, emotionally stronger, and more in control of your life.

Your story matters—and undergoing a psychological evaluation can significantly document the emotional impact that you and your family have experienced. Psychological evaluations are crucial as supporting evidence in various immigration cases, including Extreme Hardship Waivers (I-601/I-601A), VAWA, U-Visas, T-Visas, Asylum, and Cancellation of Removal.
Traumatic experiences can affect you long after the event is over. Many women struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, panic attacks, or unhealthy relationship patterns may not realize that their emotional pain often stems from childhood experiences or other significant traumatic life events. Trauma isn't just about what happened to you; it can also involve unmet emotional needs, a lack of safety, unvalidated feelings, or having to grow up too quickly. Over time, these unresolved issues can shape how you perceive yourself, trust others, and respond to stress. The good news is that healing is achievable! Through trauma-informed therapy and techniques like EMDR, you can begin to unravel these patterns, process painful memories, and cultivate healthier relationships with yourself and those around you.

You don't have to continue living in survival mode. Trauma therapy, including EMDR, can assist you in understanding these patterns, healing unresolved experiences, and starting to live with greater confidence, peace, and emotional freedom.
You were conditioned to prioritize everyone else's needs above your own, which now makes saying 'no' a source of guilt. Growing up, you may have felt like you were never good enough, leading to a habit of self-criticism in adulthood. Having learned to be strong for others, asking for help now feels like an impossible task. Childhood criticism may have instilled a tendency to overthink everything you say or do. You were taught that love had to be earned, so you now work tirelessly to prove your worth. If you grew up walking on eggshells, it's understandable that you feel anxious even when there's no immediate threat. Your upbringing may have downplayed the importance of your feelings, leaving you struggling to express your emotions today. If you experienced unpredictable relationships in the past, healthy relationships might feel unfamiliar to you. Furthermore, the constant worry about what others think of you can add to your stress. In moments of reflection, you might wonder why feelings of anxiety or depression linger, even when your life seems to be in a 'good' place.
Have your voice heard and be truly understood by receiving the compassionate care you've always deserved.
If you're not sure, you're not alone.
